Our love story kicked off back in November of 2016 when we met and dated for a few months. We were both teenagers at the time and made the decision to go our separate ways at the beginning of 2017.

In January of 2019 we rekindled and we have been inseparable ever since. Riaan worked overseas for almost 2 years during our relationship – 2019 and 2020 – and we ultimately had a long distance relationship for a total of 4 years before finally moving in together at the end of 2022. Riaan popped the question in June of 2023 on a beach, just before sunset.

After more than 5 years of loving each other we are excited to tie the knot in August! We truly believe that the biggest ‘life hack’ of all time is simply marrying your best friend.
